Privacy notice
DRAFT — EMAIL COLLECTION DISABLED. This notice is a working draft and has not been approved. No email addresses or names are being collected through this site at present: the signup form is disabled and sends nothing. This notice describes what is intended, and is not a claim of certified legal compliance. Notice version guestworth-privacy-2026-09-08-v1.
Intended purposes
- Sending a download link. If you ask for the skill by email, the address would be used to send that one email.
- Optional newsletter. Only if you tick the newsletter box. It is never required in order to download.
Email providers
Two different jobs, handled separately, and neither is live.
- The one-off download email. This would need a transactional sending service. MailerSend is the intended choice, but no account has been created and nothing is connected.
- The optional newsletter. MailerLite would hold the list, in the group “Question.Marketing - GuestWorth”, and would only ever be used for an explicit, ticked opt-in. A new address would be sent a confirmation email first, and only a click on that confirmation creates a subscription; someone already subscribed would not normally be sent another confirmation. A successful request, or landing on a confirmation page, is not itself proof of confirmation.
An address given only to request the download is never passed to the newsletter list. The website is not currently authorised to contact MailerLite at all: the owner’s account is linked to their own assistant, which does not give this site any credentials. People who have unsubscribed, bounced, marked mail as junk or been deleted would never be added back, and existing subscribers would not be reset or disturbed.
Records kept
The intention is short-lived operational records only — enough to show a request was made, to prevent abuse and to evidence consent, including the consent version guestworth-newsletter-2026-09-08-v1. These would be kept privately, not published, and cleared on a short cycle.
Separately, hosting and network providers may still log ordinary technical traffic such as requests, IP addresses and user agents, as any website hosting does.
Analytics and tracking
This site adds no third-party analytics and no tracking pixels. Nothing you type into the form is placed in the address bar, sent to analytics, or stored in your browser.
The skill itself runs inside your own assistant. It adds no advertising and no telemetry.
Contact and controller details
These are intentionally not stated while the notice is a draft. No legal entity, postal address or contact email is published here, because inventing them would be worse than leaving them out. They will be added before the notice is approved.
